Milligan is excited to announce the addition of Martin Tresidder as Development Director. With over 35 years of experience spanning multiple property sectors, Martin will play a key role in delivering Milligan’s projects in an ever-evolving urban landscape.
Based in Bristol, Martin will help extend Milligan’s national reach, providing direct support to the company’s work on transformative regeneration projects, including its 10-year regeneration partnership with Torbay Council and Willmott Dixon covering projects in Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. He will work alongside Jon Munce, who has led Milligan’s development team since 2022.
Stuart Harris, CEO at Milligan, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Martin to Milligan. He’s no stranger to Jon Munce and I, having worked with us both first at Multi Development where he delivered Southgate, Bath; and then at Queensberry where he delivered Friars Walk, Newport and was involved in the early-stage delivery of Heart of The City II in Sheffield. Martin’s tenacity and proven ability to deliver complex developments are needed now more than ever in repurposing assets and developing regeneration projects across our towns and cities in the UK.”
Speaking about his new role, Martin Tresidder said: “I’ve always been passionate about long term regeneration, and I love the challenge of delivering complex developments in challenging areas. I get a huge amount of pride seeing the difference well thought through development brings to local areas. Milligan’s collaborative, innovative approach to urban regeneration is something I’ve admired for a long time, and I’m excited to be joining a fantastic group of people”
This appointment comes during a period of growth for Milligan, following the recent appointment of Alex Hyams as Head of Mixed-Use Asset Management. With over two decades of expertise, Milligan continues to lead the way in urban regeneration, working with local authorities and private partners to transform underused spaces across the UK and Europe.
Milligan’s current work includes the regeneration partnership with Willmott Dixon in Torbay, providing strategic oversight to the project teams and leading all aspects of the developments from design and planning, financial appraisals, to affordable housing, and a role as strategic partner to The John Lewis Partnership in building their vertically integrated Build to Rent business.
