As founder and Executive Chairman of Milligan, John has 40 years experience in the real estate markets and was a former senior global partner of Jones Lang Lasalle. John formed Milligan in 2002 and today, it is still focussed on creating ‘inspiring places with heart’.
John loves the great outdoors and tries to have at least one ‘big adventure’ a year. In the last 10 years this has including climbing Kilimanjaro, the Inca trails in Peru, the Annapurna circuit in the Himalayas as well as the coast to coast walk in England. When he is not out trekking, he is playing tennis, listening to Bob Dylan, reading or playing the piano. He makes no secret that if he had any talent, he would have been a rock star but good advice from friends suggested becoming a chartered surveyor was a safer bet!
