John Naylor

John Naylor, Sustainability Consultant

John Naylor has over forty-five years of experience in the design, engineering and construction of buildings and infrastructure. He is a Chartered Engineer with an Honours Degree in Environmental Engineering and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. He was formerly the Head of Building Engineering for Halliburton Brown & Root and has had responsibility for delivering major building developments, industrial and infrastructure projects in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

For many years John has been a judge for the City of London Sustainable City Awards scheme, in the mitigating climate change category. John heads up Milligan’s ESG and climate change action plans advising across all our projects.

John is past Master of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers and a former judge of the City of London Liveable City Awards focusing upon sustainability. His hobbies include studying the assassination of JFK and his countryside pursuits include a passion for butterflies.
