Tarah Gear, Head of Marketing

Tarah has nearly 18 years’ experience driving visitor attraction and digital marketing and tech engagement strategies to drive customer experience. Tarah led the onsite marketing at Birmingham’s Mailbox, working alongside its tenants (retail, F&B and hotels) to maintain footfall during its extensive redevelopment and lay the foundations for its Smart App alongside tech partner LivingPlanIT. 

Tarah has held senior marketing roles at The NEC Group, for Birmingham’s two arenas, the National Exhibition Centre and as sales and marketing director for the Group’s ticketing division. Tarah manages Milligan’s corporate marketing and communications, is the marketing lead on our projects and is supporting the delivery of the company’s ESG roadmap.

Tarah is an enthusiastic swimmer and published children’s author. Her love of writing and storytelling comes in handy with Milligan’s brand strategy and as a mum to two young boys.
